8 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari

Pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early morning by your driver guide from our company. Set off at 7 am to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey to Bwindi takes approximately 9-11 hours, depending on which sector of the park you plan to visit. (Flying option is available if you wish to cut the long drive to the park). Please let us know if you would like to fly to Bwindi instead.

You will have a stopover at the equator monuments in Kayabwe for a break and refreshments. You can also visit the craft stalls in the area before proceeding with your journey to Bwindi Park. You will have another stopover in Mbarara for lunch.

Upon your arrival in Bwindi in the late evening, check into your lodge and refresh yourself. Later have dinner and overnight.

Start your morning with breakfast at your lodge very early in the morning. Set off to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30 am. After your briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family as well as a park guide and ranger. Start your hike to the forest in search of your gorilla family, and this can take anywhere between 4-7 hours or more, depending on the location of your gorilla family. (Please pack some snacks and water, or carry a packed lunch from your lodge).

Once you have located your gorilla family, you will be given an hour to spend with these majestic creatures. Take your time monitoring and studying them as you view the silverback protecting his family, mothers feeding their infants, and juveniles jumping from one tree to another.

Later, head back to base and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will drive back to Entebbe. This is a full-day drive, but you will have stopovers to stretch and have lunch. You will arrive in Entebbe late evening and check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Have breakfast at leisure. Depending on your flight departure times, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport in time to check in and board your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Moshi, Tanzania. Upon your arrival, you will be met by your driver guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early morning and have your breakfast. You will meet your driver guide and embark on a 6-7 hours’ drive to Serengeti National Park. You will have a stopover for lunch en route to the park. After checking into your lodge, you will embark on a game drive in the park where you will have a chance to view several wildlife animals roaming freely in the park, including; Lions, cheetah, elephants, giraffe, zebras, buffalo, antelopes, and so many more.

Return to your lodge later for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, you will head out for a full day of adventure. Enjoy a full day packed with game drives in central Serengeti. Look out for wildlife such as elephants, hyenas, hartebeests, giraffes, lions, leopards, gazelles, and cheetah among others. You can choose to have lunch at your lodge or carry a packed lunch before setting off in the morning.

Dinner will be served at your lodge/camp under a beautifully lit sky.

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge/camp. Enjoy one last game drive as you exit the park and embark on about a 5-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Area. Once you arrive in Ngorongoro, you will descend into the crater rim area for a game drive. Enjoy exploring this beautiful natural wonder, which happens to be one of the biggest volcanic calderas in the world, and is home to over 1 million wildlife animals, including lions, leopards, the rare black rhinos, elephants, zebra, cheetah, and buffalos to mention but a few. Dinner will be served at your lodge/camp.

Wake up in time to have breakfast at your lodge. After you have checked out of your lodge, you will transfer back to Arusha. Enjoy viewing wildlife as you drive out of the conservancy. You will also get to see local Maasai communities, and you can have an optional stopover to interact with the local people and visit local craft stalls to purchase some souvenirs for yourself and loved ones. Upon your arrival in Arusha, your driver guide will drop you off at a hotel of your choice, as you will advise.
