On this 1 Day Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari from USA, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali. Set off from Kigali at 4am and embark on a 3-hours’ drive to Volcanoes National Park. Volcanoes national park is situated in the northwestern province of Rwanda and is the only gorilla park in the country.
The briefing begins at 7 a.m. Your guide will highlight key characteristics about the gorillas you’ll be following. The trek might last anywhere from one to seven hours or more depending on the location of the gorillas.
You will be trekking over the steep bamboo hills and eventually coming upon the gorillas hidden in the bush is an inspirational and fortunate experience. Once you arrive to the gorillas, you have one hour to spend with them while standing 6 meters away.
After this beautiful and memorable experience and time spend with the gorillas, you will head back to back and you will reunite with your driver / guide.
