FOOD IS READILY AVAILABLE

Food is readily available for the endangered mountain gorillas during the month of June in Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga National Park which limits the movements of the gorillas and because hiking the virunga mountains and hiking through Bwindi forests in order to access the gorilla families can be hectic because the primates are usually on the move to get food in the month of June fruit and other food is readily available which limits the movement of the species and hence making the activity  quite comfortable and also making it easy for tourists to access the habituated gorilla families.

GOOD CLIMATIC CONDITIONS

The month of june favours gorilla trekking in Uganda because of the fact that the rains in June are few compared to the days without rains and this give you the chance to take part in gorilla trekking without getting to worry about rains disrupting you during your activity in the parks.

It should be noted that the virunga mountains are  slippery during the wet season which hinders movement in the parks and this slows downs tourists as they hike to the habituated gorilla families but during the dry month of June it will enable you to hike through the forests and the mountains comfortably without any hindrances.
