Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Goma

Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Goma: On day one of your 3 Days Mount Nyiragongo hike, you will be picked by your guide for your safari from a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport. The guide will take you through a briefing session about the rules and regulations to follow during your 3 days Mount Nyiragongo hike, the activities you will take part in among other relevant features of the safari. After a briefing session, you will take part in a Kigali city tour where you will get to visit Kigali genocide museum and you will get an insight of the events that led to the Rwanda Genocide museum, kimironko market the largest market in Rwanda you will have lunch and later on transfer to Goma and after border crossing you will transfer to the Grand barrier for check-ins, purchasing hiking permits, visas among others, your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Mount Nyiragongo Hike

Mount Nyiragongo Hike: On day two of your 3 days mount Nyiragongo hike, after early morning breakfast at your hotel, with your packed lunch you will depart your hotel in Goma early morning to report to Bukima and start your 3 days Mount Nyiragongo hike you will have amazing views of the world’s largest lava lake with amazing views of the lava boiling underneath the earth’s crust, rumbling and earthquake for amazing experiences in the park you will have overnight at the summit.

Day 4: Descend Nyiragongo and transfer to Kigali city

Descend Nyiragongo: On day four of 3 Days Mount Nyiragongo Hike after early morning breakfast, you will descend Mount Nyiragongo.
Transfer to Kigali city: Once at the bottom, you will be transported back to Goma and drop off at the Grande barrier for border crossing where you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Rwanda where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali for lunch and transferred to Kigali international airport and the end of your 3 days Mount Nyiragongo Hike.
