DAY 1: Pick Up & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Pick Up & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park: On day one of your 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, you will be met by your guide, a representative of our company, who will welcome you upon your arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be taken through your 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda where you will be taken the rules and regulations to follow, the expectations of the safari, the activities that will be carried out among other interesting features of the 3 days safari. After the briefing session, you will be transferred to Volcanoes national park a home to the two endangered primates like the endangered mountain gorillas and the golden monkey species that can be seen during the different activities in the park. On your way to the park, you will have exceptional views of the land of 1000 hills with a number of relief features that can be seen, you will also get to see the beautiful hills, how people carry out their daily activities, you will get to see a number coffee plantations along the slopes of the different hills which will offer exceptional views as you travel to the park. You will then to head to your hotel near Volcanoes National Park, for dinner and overnight stay

DAY 2: Gorilla trekking Experience

Gorilla trekking Experience: On day 2 of your 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, After an early morning breakfast you will set off from your hotel to the park with your packed lunch because the activity can take approximately 8 hours. When you get to the park headquarters, you transfer to the Kinigi reception area where you will have a briefing session where you will be briefed on the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Rwanda, the rules and regulations of the activity so that you have a safe activity in the park. After the briefing session you will then hike the Virunga Mountain to access the Rwanda gorilla families and during the hike you will get to see a number of bird species like the long-crested eagle handsome Francolin, paradise flycatcher, archer’s ground robin, African Rwenzori, double collared sunbird, marsh harrier, Ruwenzori turaco , you will also get to see other primates in the park like the Rwenzori colobus monkey, red tailed monkeys, silver monkeys among other monkey species which will make your 3 days Gorilla trekking Safari in Rwanda memorable. When you meet the habituated gorilla family, you will get to understand more about the endangered mountain gorillas in the Park like their feeding patterns, how they groom one another, their co-existence with one another and other animal species in the park for a memorable safari, at the end of the activity you will head back to your hotel for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: Transfer to Kigali

Transfer to Kigali: On your 3rd day of your 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, after an early morning breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kigali city where you will participate in the Kigali City tour which will be the climax of your safari, during the Kigali city tour you will visit the kimironko market, you will also visit the Kigali genocide memorial museum where you will get to know more about the Rwanda genocide tour where you will visit a number of genocide memorial sites, you will also visit the Nyanza palace where you will know more about the culture of Rwanda. You will then have lunch and dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali City and the end of your safari.
